In 2016, Girl Scout Troop 2009 started work on a Silver Award—to promote their love of reading and literacy by installing a Little Free Library in Clifton. It will be located in front of the Community Meeting Hall, located at 12641 Chapel Rd.

After months of designing, fundraising, and working with the Town Council and ARB, the Troop is ready to present this gift to our community!

Please join the Town of Clifton, Del. Tim Hugo, and local authors, for the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Little Free Library, this Saturday, May 20th, from 2-3 PM, at the Community Meeting Hall. Bring a book to donate and receive a coupon for a free ice cream cone from Peterson's Ice Cream Depot.
